Recently our office was sent a letter directing payments for Elite products to be sent directly to a bank-controlled P.O. Box. Elite’s inventory has since been sequestered and removed by the same bank that sent us the letter. Additionally, Elite’s phones are being covered by an answering machine. So their products may not be published in future editions of FRAMES and may not be eligible for VSP reimbursement.
Now the GOOD NEWS: if you have purchased Smart Clip or Intelli Clip products through Elite or a secondary source, Alternative Eyewear is servicing these brands. In addition to on-hand inventory, they will:
- Honor ALL warranty claims.
- Work with you to upgrade your magnetic stock.
- Assist in any patient-related issues concerning availability.

My daughter has the Elite Smart Clip SC918 frame. The frame broke in half at the bridge. They are out of warranty by apporx 2 mos. Can one purchase just the broken part and not the entire frameset?
